Yoga sessions

Yoga for Adults

Our course provides a step-by-step introduction to the theory and practice of yoga, emphasizing on proper exercise (asanas), proper breathing (pranayama) and proper relaxation (savasana). We also emphasize correct body alignment and increase your flexibility and strength.

Beginners’ course: A thorough introduction for a beginner in YOGA practice, or for anyone looking to renew their practice. This course provides an introduction to yoga, including:

  • Breathing exercises (pranayama)
  • Yoga postures (asanas)
  • Relaxation

How the course is designed?

  • This course is Specifically Designed to give you a complete exposure to the three major tools in Yoga.
  • Each week an Integral Yoga class will begin with Theory, Breathing exercises (pranayama) followed by the yoga postures (asanas) and concluding with deep relaxation.
  • Each class is for 1,5 hour
  • The program is Delightfully Progressive. With each week we will learn new postures and new breathing techniques.
  • We will provide handouts for each session: The handouts include the whys and how’s of the practice making the experience a “learning with meaning” one. You won’t be cramped with directions of just do this or do that but you will be able to appreciate the reasons behind the practice.

All-Level Yoga

It’s a moderate yoga class suitable for most students with some yoga experience.

In this class, you will expand on your strength, stamina and flexibility as you explore more intermediate postures (inversions, backbends ) and more demanding sequences. This class will help you take your practice to a new level.

Yoga for children

Teach, engage and empower children through yoga.

Yoga helps kids be calmer, more focused, and happier it also helps to deepen emotional connections.

Pilates

Pilates is a postural gymnastic with the aim of toning muscles and improving core strength, in order to have a better and stronger posture to support the spine and joints, and prevent and cure physical injuries. It also increases flexibility, body awareness and coordination, breathing capacity and strength in general. This course will give you a general idea of what Pilates is, you will learn the main basics, which allow you to improve your practice, and increase the level and the intensity of the exercises. Remember that this is not a gentle gymnastic. In fact, it was created to give you strength, flexibility, body control and coordination, to make your posture stronger and more symmetric, thinking about the quality of your movements. You will learn to work close to your limits, but always respecting them, giving your body time to work at the right individual pace.

Massage

Swedish massage

Swedish massage is one of the most effective massage therapy modalities. It involves a deep tissue massage applied with gentle and vigorous pressure. Think of this method as a wonderful combination of massage and physical therapy, a process that promotes total relaxation and muscle tension release. Swedish Massage Therapy has long been used by experts to provide many notable benefits. Here are just a few:

  • Relaxation – One of the major benefits of Swedish massage therapy is true relaxation.
  • Helps with stress – Many of us lead very demanding lives, and the resulting stress can manifest in the body, making muscles noticeably tight and stiff. Swedish massage therapy eases the body’s unwanted responses to stress and helps to clear your mind of worry.
  • Better flexibility – After an hour of this kind of rejuvenating massage therapy, you can’t help but notice the way your body’s movements improve. Ayurveda

Ayurvedic Consultation

  • Initial Comprehensive Ayurvedic Consultation: (includes comprehensive Ayurvedic assessment of your constitutional make-up, current state, organ and tissue pulses, along with management plan laid out for you (therapeutic bodywork, nutrition and detoxification) 1 hour and 30min
  • Follow-up Ayurvedic assessments combined with Therapeutic Bodywork

Ayurvedic therapies:

Abhyangam: A whole body massage with specific herbal oils imported from India to nourish and revitalize the body tissues and to allow the toxins to be removed from the cells. (45 Minutes)

Swedana: Herbal steam bath is administered which opens the pores and flushes and cleanses the system through the skin. Its effect is enhanced when taken after Abhyangam. (20 Minutes)

Shirodhara: This unique Ayurvedic therapy offers a gentle, continuous stream of warm, herbal oil that is poured on the third eye and forehead inducing a womb-like relaxing state. Shirodhara is renowned for its balancing effect on the brain and nervous system, by helping to alleviate anxiety and other mental disturbances. The warm, herbal oil is also nourishing to the scalp and hair. This session also includes a scalp, head and neck massage which ends with a soothing facial steam and nasya oil (oil in the nose) to relieve sinus, head and neck tension. (1hour)

Marma: Marma Therapy is the theory from which acupuncture has its origins. Using pure essential oils, the Marma Points are stimulated using a light pressure which promotes subtle energy cleansing and rebalancing. Marma points are the gateways in the body where the body and mind communicate. By stimulating the marmas, blocks due to stress and improper diet can be dissolved.( 45 Minutes)
